RACE@HOME LOWRIDER 2 DoF (SURGE & TRACTION LOSS) SIM RACING MOTION PLATFORM 4 YOUR COCKPIT
 
Bringing a splash of colour to the monochrome world of sim racing motion platforms, our own LowRider Traction Loss and Surge platform can be customised to match your car, carpet, curtains or slippers. Use your imagination and create something you don't have to hide away in the spare room.
As it's name suggests, LowRider sits just 12cm (5") off the ground, with the base of a standard aluminium profile cockpit as low as 14.5cm (6") off the floor. The LowRider also rests on a 3mm rubber adhesive base with no protruding fittings, meaning no more yoga mats and allowing stability on carpets, polished floors or concrete.
All LowRiders are built to order, so take a little time to prepare, however if the supplier lines are available, 14 working days is what we aim for. We also quality check the finished item prior to dispatch for colour consistency.
 Standard mounting points to the centres are 93cm (36.625") apart lengthways and 70cm (27.5") wide for the 5 DoF version which includes 68mm diameter cups for mounting actuators. PT Actuator Scorpion mounts are designed to fit 40mm profile intervals although imperial brackets can be custom prepared.
The stand alone 2 DoF kit with brackets to connect cockpits without actuators has mounting points 70cm apart along the length but can accept cockpit widths from 58cm (22.8") to 83cm (32.6"). Brackets are available in metric (40mm between mounting points) or Imperial (1.5" between mounting points)
LowRider uses PT Actuators and can be configured with 150 or 200mm Surge and 200 or 250mm Traction Loss.
 
This LowRider 2 DoF motion platform kit contains:
 
1 x LowRider motion platform with cups
2 x PT Actuators (150mm - 250mm of your choice) with data and power cables
2 x silent servo drives with cables (all set, tested and connected)
1 x Thanos controler with USB cable (if selected) 
2 x air wedge pumps
 
We ship worldwide from the UK in large wooden crates (148 x 85 x 40cm), so will only quote for shipping prior to dispatch. It is around 150kg for the standard 2 DoF LowRider. An indication of shipping costs is available on request. Transit time to the USA is 4-5 working days, Europe 3-5 working days.
